INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package of shortcrust pastry
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 500 ml of water
  • 5 pears
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • cinnamon sticks to decorate

PREPARATION:

Heat the oven to 180ºC. Line a tart pan with the puff pastry and prick the bottom with a fork and set aside.

Peel and cut the pears into wedges. Place the pears in a bowl of cold water.

Bring a pan with water, sugar and cinnamon stick to the heat and let it boil. Add the pears and let them blanch for 4 minutes.

In a bowl add the softened butter, sugar, almond flour, eggs, wheat flour and mix everything.

Pour the mixture into the tart pan. Arrange the pears on top, forming a circular pattern.

Bake in the oven, preheated to 180ºC, for around 35 to 45 minutes. Once cooked, remove the pie from the oven, let it cool, unmold it and serve.
