Cooking time: 40 mins | Total time: 60 mins | To: 20-25 servings
INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:
- 350 g of flour
- 80 g of butter
- 5 dl of water
- 1 pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 0.5 dl of olive oil
- 4 Tbsp tomato pulp
- 1 tbsp cornstarch flour
- Parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
For panning:
- 1 egg
- Breadcrumbs
PREPARATION:
For the filling: in a frying pan with olive oil, sauté the onion and chopped garlic, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden. Add the minced meat, season with salt and pepper and cook until it takes on color. Add the tomato pulp and cornstarch, mix well and cook until it thickens. Remove from the heat, add a little parsley, mix and let cool.
Prepare the dough: in a pan with water, add the butter and a pinch of salt, bring to the boil and bring to a boil. Add the flour in the form of a “rain”, always mixing very well until you obtain a homogeneous ball. Remove and let cool.
On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out the dough, place a little of the filling on top, fold the dough and cut into a patty shape. Repeat the operation until you run out of ingredients, then coat in beaten egg and breadcrumbs.
Place the patties on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for around 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
