Preparation

Place the orange juice and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil and reduce to a low heat. After 10 minutes, turn it off.

In a saucepan, place the sugar, orange peels, milk and cinnamon stick. Mix everything and heat until it boils and turn it off.

Cut the bread into slices about 2 to 3 centimeters thick and set aside.

Place the cooled milk in a bowl and pass the slices of bread through the milk until they are well soaked and drain a little.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix with the remaining milk. Dip the French toast in the egg and milk mixture.

In a frying pan with hot oil, fry the French toast over low heat, and place them on a tray lined with absorbent paper.

Dip the French toast in the sugar and cinnamon mixture and drizzle with the orange syrup.
