Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, boil the milk with the vanilla essence.

  2. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks and sugar well until light and creamy. Add the cornstarch and mix again.

  3. When the milk boils, slowly add it to the mixture (eggs, sugar and cornstarch) and then add everything to the pan.

  4. Place over medium heat and let it thicken, stirring constantly with the help of a whisk.

  5. When the mixture is the desired thickness, pour it into jars and refrigerate for 3 hours.
